Do Min-Jun (Kim Su-hyun) is an alien that landed on earth in the year 1609 during the Joseph Dynasty. When he tries to help a young girl named Yi-hwa fall off the cliff, he misses his journey back to his planet and remains stranded on earth for the next four centuries. They have a full-fledged presence, increased physical abilities that enhance their vision, hearing and motion, and a whimsical, worn-out view in relation to man. As time goes by, Min-June is forced to take a new identity every ten years, as their human presence never occurs.

Currently, he works as a college professor. After leaving only three months before her long-awaited departure, she meets Chian Soong-yi (Jun Ji-hyun), a famous Halliu actress who suddenly becomes her next neighbor.
